Well at least Corey Kluber had fun

Maybe if things were different right now, I’d be mad at Corey Kluber for pitching a gem against his former team. But as it is, in a meaningless September game for Cleveland, I guess I’m just happy that he’s happy.

Am I happy that Zach Plesac was relieved by Nick Wittgren in a high-leverage situation and it predictably backfired? Not really. Is it a good thing that the Yankees had more home runs (5) than Cleveland had total hits (4)? Not so much.

But at least Corey Kluber got to pitch a solid six innings — something he hasn’t done since he threw a no-hitter for New York back in May.
