In a surprising pitcher’s duel, veteran Alexi Ogando tossed 5.2 shutout innings for Columbus, striking out eight and walking just one while allowing one hit.
Columbus didn’t get much offense with just three hits on the day, but two of them came from leadoff hitter Greg Allen, who went 2-4 with a double and an outfield assist. Allen scored the game’s only run in the fourth inning off a Yandy Diaz single. Diaz went 1-3 with a walk.
