Scrappers and RubberDucks rally late to squeak out wins

Four members of the Clippers homered and Yu Chang did it twice in a smackdown against the Mud Hens. Chang and Connor Marabell had three hits. Meanwhile, Ka’ai Tom continued to do Ka’ai Tom stuff by going 2-5 with a walk, stolen base, and one of the aforementioned dingers.

Jake Bauers doubled, Daniel Johnson doubled, the Clippers doubled the Mud Hens’ score. Good times.

Jordan Stephens and Jared Robinson weren’t sharp on the mound but rode the offensive wave to glory. Dan Otero pitched a scoreless frame and Kyle Nelson allowed one hit—a solo shot—in two innings, striking out five.
