While I don’t suspect most Tribe fans are too excited to see the team with the highest payroll in MLB advance to the World Series, I think we can all take a little pleasure in the Cubs being eliminated brutally on their home field. With ore bad news about Michael Brantley yesterday, that’s about the best Tribe-related news we can hang onto.
In case you missed it, Michael Brantley had his 463rd surgery since 2015 and continues to not be the MVP candidate he was that one season four years ago. The Indians still have a “tough” choice ahead of them when it comes to picking up his option or not.
