CLEVELAND– The city of Cleveland really has Indians fever.

The Cleveland Indians have reached 2 million tickets sold for the 2017 season, according to a release from the club. This is the first year since 2008 that the team has reached that threshold.

When compared to 2016, attendance has jumped nearly 30 percent per game. That number is even more stunning when compared to 2015, and marks a 42 percent increase in attendance per game.

While in person attendance has grown, ratings have also grown. TV ratings are averaging a 8.23 household rating on SportsTime Ohio, up 26 percent over last year’s 6.
