Larry Ogunjobi’s suspension upheld on appeal

The NFL denied Larry Ogunjobi’s appeal on Wednesday, so the Cleveland Browns defensive tackle will have to serve a one-game suspension for pushing Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph at the end of last Thursday’s game.

Ogunjobi will miss Cleveland’s home game on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, but will be eligible to return on December 1 when the Browns travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers.

Ogunjobi received a bit of good news, however, as appeals officer James Thrash rescinded the $10,527 that had originally been levied against Ogunjobi.
