The Cleveland Browns added cornerback A.J. Green to the active roster on Saturday as the club prepares for Sunday’s home game against Washington.
The move comes as the Browns continue to deal with injuries in the secondary. Cornerback Greedy Williams will miss his third consecutive game with a shoulder injury, while cornerback Denzel Ward will be a game-time decision as he is dealing with a groin injury.
Green is an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State. The Browns made headlines when they signed Green as they gave him a reported $145,000 guaranteed contract.
