NC State wide receiver says Clemson gave the Pack "a punch in the mouth"

CLEMSON – After the last two dramatic close calls, N.C. State entered Death Valley with hopes and dreams of finally knocking off No. 3 Clemson.

Unfortunately for the Wolfpack, the Tigers got off to a quick start and knocked N.C. State in the mouth before they ever had a chance to respond.

Clemson (7-0 overall, 4-0 ACC) led 24-0 at halftime in a game that wound up being a 41-7 rout of N.C. State (5-1, 2-1) when all was said and done Saturday night in Death Valley. The Tigers outgained the Pack 471-297 (with a chunk of NC State’s yards coming late), and averaged 5.
