Can Alabama move the ball on Clemson’s defense?

When Clemson and Alabama meet in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Eve, two of the nation’s best defenses will be on display.

The Crimson Tide lead the country in scoring defense at 11.5 points per game, while Clemson is second at 12.8 points per game.

Also, Alabama is second in total defense (257.8 ypg.), third in rushing defense (94.1) and seventh in pass defense (163.7). The Tigers on the other hand are sixth in total defense (277.9), eighth in pass defense (165.1) and 13th in rushing defense (112.9).

However, what sets these two defenses apart this year is up front.
