Trevor Bauer does his job, offense, Stephenson don't in Cincinnati Reds loss to White Sox

Trevor Bauer did his job Saturday night. He went seven innings and gave up two runs. He kept them the Cincinnati Reds in the game, as they say.

Three batters after Bauer departed, that was no longer the case. Robert Stephenson gave up home runs to the first three batters he faced. And the Reds’ six-game winning streak ended with a thud – 5-0 to Chicago White Sox at Great American Ball Park.

Bauer was very good, save for a three-batter stretch in the fifth when he gave up a pair of solo home runs. Bauer went seven innings and allowed the two runs on five hits.
