GOODYEAR, Arizona – As the Cincinnati Reds near the start of their Cactus League season, Thursday’s full-squad workout featured more pitchers throwing live batting practice.
It’s not something that pitchers take lightly. Lucas Sims shook off catcher Tyler Stephenson a few times when he was facing Nick Castellanos and Travis Jankowski. Trevor Bauer doesn’t hide his emotions on the mound and it was apparent he was frustrated if he missed a fastball at the top of the strike zone or bounced a curveball.

1. Luis Castillo threw his first live batting practice session and his changeup looks as deadly as usual.
