Reds' Target Field visit is their first

When the Cincinnati Reds face the Minnesota Twins at Target Field this Friday through Sunday, they'll be caught up. It will be the last of the current Major League Baseball parks they've visited.

Target Field opened in 2010. The Reds hosted the Twins at Great American Ball Park in 2012 and most recently in 2015 but haven't played in Minnesota since 2001.

The Reds were 2-7 in nine games at the Metrodome between 1997 and 2001. Brett Tomko won both games for Cincinnati - one in 1997 and one in 1999 - and also beat the Twins in Cincinnati in 1998.
