Reds get back to .500 and manager David Bell ejected in 10-3 win over the Rockies

When Cincinnati Reds manager David Bell was ejected for the first time this season, back in April in St. Louis, left fielder Jesse Winker said Bell’s ejection was another sign of how his manager had the team’s back.

Two months later, Bell came directly to Winker’s defense. Bell’s second ejection of the year came in a 10-3 win for the Reds over the Colorado Rockies on Saturday at Great American Ball Park.

Winker had a foul tip in the fourth inning that was called strike three.
