Somehow, Madison Bumgarner has never finished higher than 4th in any NL Cy Young Award voting. He did so in both 2014 and again in 2016, though he has never finished higher than 6th in any other season despite his postseason exploits and largely consistent, excellent regular season work.
Matt Harvey has a 4th place finish in the NL Cy Young Award under his belt, too - his having come back in 2013 with the New York Mets.
