The Cincinnati Reds pitching staff has, without question, been the highlight of the 2019 season. Unfortunately several pitchers on the roster have deals that will be expiring at the end of the season, assuming none of them sign contract extensions. It’s time for the Reds to investigate bringing Noah Syndergaard to the Queen City.
Several Reds pitchers who are pending free agents, including Tanner Roark, have pitched well enough to warrant an extension. If the Cincinnati Reds front office has no intention of doing so, they should be looking to add some strong arms to their roster for next year.
