'It was a challenge': Cincinnati Bengals can't contain Lamar Jackson in loss to Baltimore Ravens

Theoretically, the Cincinnati Bengals’ regular season could have ended with a Joe Burrow touchdown throw, or Joe Mixon running out the clock. More realistically, it could have ended with A.J. Green tying the franchise’s all-time touchdown record, or with Tee Higgins becoming the best statistical rookie wide receiver in Bengals’ history.

Cincinnati could have even ended the regular season on a three-game winning streak and kept the Baltimore Ravens out of the playoffs. Instead, with most of the Bengals’ best players injured, Cincinnati lost 38-3 to Baltimore to finish the regular season 4-11-1.

Analysis:Ravens run game too much for Bengals

"I don't question the effort," head coach Zac Taylor said.
