Eric Bieniemy to turn down Colorado, continue to pursue NFL head coaching job, per report

The University of Colorado reportedly talked to Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy about becoming the Buffaloes' head coach, but ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Tuesday that there's "no major traction right now, and that Bieniemy knows going into next year, he's going to be a very attractive head coaching candidate in 2021" when he "walks in(to an interview) with a Super Bowl ring."

Bieniemy, a Cincinnati Bengals running back and kick returner from 1995 to 1998, has been the Chiefs' offensive coordinator since January 2018.
