Rookie Ryan Finley experienced the customary rookie growing pains in his debut. There were a small amount of highlights and some proverbial lowlights.
Finley led the Bengals on three scoring drives, one touchdown and two field goals in his first NFL start. His 24-yard pass to wide receiver Tyler Boyd on third and 10 split two defenders and the fade ball to tight end Tyler Eifert for the quarterback’s first career touchdown were his best passes of the 49-13 loss.
