MOBILE, Alabama – Last year at this time, Kyle Shanahan and his San Francisco 49ers coaching staff were in Mobile coaching the South Team at the Senior Bowl. Fast forward to this year, the Niners are preparing for Super Bowl LIV and Zac Taylor’s Cincinnati Bengals are coaching up the South Team in Mobile.
Shanahan’s 49ers orchestrated a remarkable turnaround from a 4-12 season. San Francisco is the third team in NFL history to reach the Super Bowl after having four or fewer wins the previous season.
