The Cincinnati Bengals have signed defensive end Freedom Akinmoladun and wide receiver Cody Thompson to the practice squad, the team announced Tuesday.
Akinmoladun, who weighs in at 6-4 and 295 pounds, is a rookie out of the University of Nebraska. He was originally a college free agent signee of the New York Giants in May. He was waived by the Giants during final cuts, and then signed to the team’s practice squad before being released on Nov. 12.
Thompson, weighing in at 6-2 and 205 pounds, is a rookie out of the University of Toledo who was originally a college free agent signee of the Kansas City Chiefs in May.
