The Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team went down to Tampa and pulled off a big win.
UC ran its conference mark to 6-2 and its overall record to 14-7 as it won a come from behind contest against the University of South Florida Bulls.
The Bearcats pulled ahead with 1:11 remaining in the 4th quarter on an 10 foot jump shot by Antoinette Miller. The junior guard posted 12 points in the conference win.
Cincinnati’s ability to hang with Bulls came largely as a result of the efforts of Miller, sophomore forward Ilmar’i Thomas (19 points, 7 rebounds) and senior guard Nikira Goings (18 points).
