In 2003, athletic directors at Ohio State and Cincinnati, located less than a two-hour drive from each other, agreed to play twice in football.

On Sept. 7, when the Bearcats travel to Columbus, the two schools will finally complete the terms of the contract.

It has taken 16 years to play two college football games.
