The University of Cincinnati football team has had its 2017 schedule altered by the effects of Hurricane Irma, with UC now to play South Florida on a different date.
The American Athletic Conference announced several schedule changes Thursday, after the recent hurricane prompted changes and cancellations particularly in the Southeast.
In UC's case, the Bearcats will now play at South Florida (aka USF) on Saturday Oct. 14 instead of Saturday Oct. 28. The Oct. 14 date was to be a bye week for UC, which now will have a bye Oct. 28. Kickoff time is still to be announced for the UC-USF game.
