Garrett Campbell attended many Cincinnati-Miami football games while growing up, and the University of Cincinnati senior understands more than most about the importance of UC retaining the series' Victory Bell this week.
UC (1-1) will visit longtime rival Miami (1-1) in Oxford on Saturday at 8 p.m. (Fox 19), with the Bearcats riding an 11-year series winning streak. That is the longest such streak by either team in a rivalry that dates back to 1888, and St. Xavier High School graduate Campbell said UC seniors have vowed to not to be the class that lets the Bell slip away.
