The University of Cincinnati track and field program posted a school-record number of All-America performances at the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Championships, which concluded this past weekend in Eugene, Oregon.
UC had seven individuals collect Division I All-America honors, which surpassed the four attained by the Bearcats at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor meet.
A glance:
-Junior Adrian Valles (Pamplona, Spain) placed second in the men’s pole vault as he cleared 5.55m (18-02.50). The height matched Valles' season best and secured first team All-America honors.
Valles tied Al Lanier for the best finish by a UC man in program history.
