New University of Cincinnati head football coach Luke Fickell is inheriting a team that was 4-8 this past season - and one of just six of the 128 teams graded to earn an "F" in USA TODAY Sports' final grades for every FBS team.
Fresno State (1-11), Michigan State (3-9), Notre Dame (4-8), Texas State (2-10) and UCLA (4-8) were the only others to receive the lowest grade available from USA TODAY Sports. Ironically, two of the four head coaches not replaced at the end of their nightmarish seasons - the Spartans' Mark Dantonio and the Fighting Irish's Brian Kelly - are former UC head coaches (Dantonio from 2004 to 2006 and Kelly from 2007 to 2009).
