The University of Cincinnati has added two Cleveland-area football recruits to the Bearcats' 2018 class, with both players rated among the Top 50 Ohio high school prospects.
Cornerback Arquon Bush (Euclid) and cornerback Taj Ward (Solon) both tweeted commitments to UC this week. Both players are rated 3-star recruits by 247Sports.com, with the website listing Bush No. 26 and Ward No. 49 in the Ohio prep class of 2018.
The 6-foot, 170-pound Bush received All-Ohio and Cleveland.com honors as a quarterback last season, when he led his team to the Ohio Division I playoffs. Bush also had 52 tackles and five interceptions as a cornerback, had five touchdowns on kick returns and also started as a receiver, according to Cleveland.
