MEMPHIS – For a second straight time on the road, UC overcame a double-digit deficit in the second half to score a key conference win, defeating Memphis at FedExForum 69-64. The Bearcats trailed by six at halftime and were down as much as 11 early in the second half. Justin Jenifer’s 3-pointer put UC up for good in the closing minutes of the game.
UC also had a double-digit second-half comeback in their road win at Temple Jan. 27.
Jenifer had 14 points for the Bearcats, while Jarron Cumberland overcame a sluggish first half to finish with a team-high 17.
