Tommy Tuberville will not be governing in the near future, but he will be golfing.
Former University of Cincinnati football coach Tuberville will join former UC quarterback Brendon Kay in the 11th annual Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge charity golf tournament, which runs April 30 to May 3 at the Reynolds Plantation resort on Lake Oconee outside Atlanta.
Tuberville recently considered a run for the 2018 Alabama Republican nomination for governor, but said this week that he would not pursue a campaign. Tuberville spent 1999-2008 as head football coach at Auburn, intrastate rival of the Alabama Crimson Tide.
