Wichita State would accept an invitation to move to the American Athletic Conference from the Missouri Valley Conference if the league decides to extend that offer, according to ESPN.com's Andy Katz.
Katz cited university sources he said told ESPN on Thursday.
And according to Katz, a source with direct knowledge told ESPN that the AAC will make a decision on Wichita State soon.
Wichita State moving to the AAC "is a distinct possibility in the near future," SI.com's Pete Thamel reported last week.
