Even after the disappointment of the American Athletic Conference title game, the Cincinnati Bearcats still have games to play. The NCAA Tournament Selection Committee unveiled the 68-team bracket for this year’s Big Dance and the Bearcats were included. Obviously that wasn’t a big surprise. Even after Sunday’s loss to SMU, the Bearcats posted a 29-5 record to this point and were a lock for most bracketologists throughout the season.
Now we know for sure what they’re seed will be, as they were revealed as the No. 6 seed in the South Region. However, we’ll have to wait a couple days to find out who they will play, as their opponent will be decided in the First Four between Kansas State and Wake Forest.
