COLERAIN TWP. - Colerain High School football coach Tom Bolden estimates more than 120 football coaches visited his office after last season seeking information on his Cardinal players.
Many of those inquiries come from Division I coaches as the Cardinals have dominated the Greater Miami Conference for close to 20 years, perpetually turning out major college talent. Just last winter, Amir Riep signed with Ohio State, Keontae Jones with Iowa State and Kyle Bolden (Tom's son) with the University of Cincinnati.
This Cardinal crop is no different and already safety/receiver Ja'Von Hicks has committed to UC to join Luke Fickell's efforts to circle off the talent around the I-275 beltway.
