Michael Warren II arrived at the University of Cincinnati with plenty of fanfare this year as the reigning Ohio Mr. Football. Warren also had no plans to sit the bench early in college, and it appears he will not.
"My thought process was to play right away and help the team, whether it’s on special teams or running the ball," Warren said after a recent UC practice. "I wanted to work my butt off. I know if I did everything coach (Luke) Fickell said, I’d get the opportunity to play as a true freshman."
