Former five-star recruit Torrance Gibson will not be playing for the University of Cincinnati football team after all.

Gibson, who transferred from Ohio State University to UC after the 2016 season, is now headed to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. MGCC announced Gibson's arrival via press release Thursday.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Gibson was a high school All-American in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Gibson was moved from quarterback to wide receiver after arriving at Ohio State, where he redshirted in 2015.

Gibson was suspended for the 2016 season for a violation of the OSU student code of conduct, and he eventually transferred to UC with the intent of playing quarterback again.
