According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Alex Thomas, a junior cornerback for the Cincinnati Bearcats, was arrested yesterday. Thomas has been accused of taking part in an armed robbery.
Obviously the legal side of this incident is the most distressing and pressing matter, but there are football implications as well. Thomas, who was suspended indefinitely following the arrest, was a starting cornerback for the Bearcats last season and recorded 22 tackles and four interceptions.
