A perfect start to American Athletic Conference play has only made a minor impact on the Cincinnati Bearcats’ ranking in the world. Following two very different wins (a 56-50 slogfest against Temple and a 92-56 drubbing of Tulane), UC is now 12-2 overall and tied with four other teams atop the AAC standings with a 2-0 mark against league foes.
That resume is enough to move UC up in the AP Top 25, although by a small amount yet again. The Bearcats are now No. 22 in the poll, after moving up to No. 23 a week ago.
