Regular readers of Bearcats in the Big Leagues know that Harrison has not had the best July. Perhaps his efforts on Wednesday will begin a turnaround of sorts. In a 3-2 win for the Pirates over the Brewers, Harrison went 3-for-5 with a run scored, recording a WPA (win probability added) of .213, the fourth-highest mark on the team and third-best among position players. Following his home run on Tuesday, Harrison has now posted back-to-back games with a wRC+ above 200 for the first time since early June. One of Harrison’s hits in the game was a double, which was his first two-bagger since June 27.
