Injuries are part of sports but they are a really crappy part of them. Unfortunately for Harrison, the injury bug came for him on Sunday as he jammed his left leg while trying to run out a infielder grounder. He had to leave the game due to the injury, but there’s not much information available on how severe the malady is. Harrison had gone 0-for-2 in his two plate appearances before coming out of the game, making him 0-for his last-10 at-bats. Hopefully he’ll get some more chances and soon.
Happ is continuing to see his playing time evaporate as he was once again out of the lineup for the Cubs on Sunday.
