The favorites won eight out of nine games in American Athletic Conference action this week, as a very clear line begins to develop between the top half of the league and the bottom half. Predictably, Connecticut was the only underdog to win when it beat UCF at home in the final game of the week. UConn is the most difficult team in the conference to figure out. The Huskies urrently have a 6-9 record, but have the talent to compete for a top four or five spot in the conference. They’ve played a difficult schedule and have been decimated by injuries, but nobody would be surprised if they put a run together and challenge the top four of the conference.
