Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson had a monster postseason, collecting nine hits in 14 at-bats in the American League wild-card series against the Oakland Athletics.
“I’m excited that he’s on the South Side with us and he’s going to bring a lot of depth to what we need,” Anderson said during a Thursday conference call. “We’ve been looking for a guy like that and from the looks of it, it looks like he wants the ball every day and we saw that in the playoffs. Definitely want a guy like that on your squad.”
“We remember what Oakland felt like,” Anderson said.
