Chicago White Sox plan to put cardboard cutouts of fans in the stands for their opening series at Guaranteed Rate Field

Fans won’t be in the stands when the Chicago White Sox open the pandemic-delayed 2020 season July 24 against the Minnesota Twins at Guaranteed Rate Field. But through a team promotion, a few fans might get to see a cardboard cutout of themselves while watching the game on television.

The Sox announced the “FANtastic Faces” promotion, which allows fans to purchase a cardboard cutout of their likeness that will be displayed during the first homestand July 24-26.

Each cutout costs $49, while supplies last. Interested fans can submit a photo following the guidelines provided at whitesox.
