In his return against Texas, Maeda showed no signs of the strained right hip that put him on the DL. He did walk three (one intentionally) and hit a batter, but he said he felt healthy and the club expects more this time.
Chatwood didn't rely on his fastball as much and mixed in his other three pitches against the Brewers last time out and was more effective. He walked two, the third time this season he's walked two or fewer, which is an improvement.
