Despite the loss, Rookie Lauri Markkanen was the player of the game. Markkanen had a career-high 26 points and 13 rebounds. Tonight was his fourth double double of the season. He shot the ball 19 times and made 10 of those shots.
Every game you see something new from Markkanen. He continues to expand his game. Yes he is a really good shooter, but he also has a nice post up game.
Every time he shoots the ball you think he will make it. Markkanen has made 36 three pointers so far which is the most by any player after 14 career NBA games.
