Chicago Bulls: Wendell Carter Jr. leaves something to be desired in debut

It is good on the Chicago Bulls and their coaching staff for taking it slow with second-year center Wendell Carter Jr. in the preseason. There’s no need to risk the health of Carter Jr. in what is a preseason slate with just one game remaining. A healthy Carter Jr. for the regular season opener on Oct. 23 against the Charlotte Hornets would be the ideal scenario for the Bulls.

Nonetheless, Carter Jr. did make his preseason debut on Oct. 13 in a road tilt against the defending NBA Champions Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre.
