Patrick Kane collects 1,000th career point in Blackhawks’ 5-2 win vs. Jets

The Blackhawks extended their win streak to a season high five games and Patrick Kane reached the 1,000th career point mark in a 5-2 win over the Jets on Sunday at United Center.

Alex Nylander collected his first two point effort since Dec. 19 with a goal and an assist. Robin Lehner made 36 saves, including 12 high danger saves.

Chicago went 5-for-5 on the penalty kill and continue to show massive improvements from having the worst penalty kill in the NHL last season.

Chicago got off to a hot start for the third straight game when Nylander buried his first goal in a month at 2:51 of the first period.
