Chicago Blackhawks’ Forsberg’s Stellar Debut Keeps Hopes High

While all eyes were on John Hayden, Nick Schmaltz and first-round pick Henri Jokiharju during the Chicago Blackhawks’ 5-2 preseason win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday, others had their eyes on a more important piece: the guy who took over Scott Darling‘s job.

That guy, who goes by the name of Anton Forsberg, had a lot of weight on his back entering the exhibition matchup versus the team he was traded from. Forsberg only had one game under his belt with the Blue Jackets, which was a horrendous performance in which he allowed four goals on 27 shots.
