Blackhawks top Blues for Jeremy Colliton’s first NHL coaching win

In his fourth game as the Blackhawks head coach, Colliton picked up his first NHL career win with a 1-0 victory over the Blues on Wednesday night at the United Center.

Brent Seabrook scored a power-play goal and Corey Crawford picked up a shutout with a 28-save performance to snap Chicago’s eight-game losing streak and three-game slid under Colliton. It’s the first shutout for Crawford since he blanked the Wild on Nov. 4, 2017.

The Blackhawks promoted Colliton to the head post from the AHL after firing Joel Quenneville on Nov.
