Blackhawks fans cheer for Joel Quenneville during Jeremy Colliton’s pregame introduction

The Blackhawks did not to introduce Jeremy Colliton in his first home game as the team’s head coach last Thursday after firing Joel Quenneville. In Colliton’s second game at the United Center on Tuesday night, they did do a pregame introduction and the Chicago crowd cheered for Quenneville with a chorus of “Q.”

The Blackhawks’ decision to fire Quenneville wasn’t a popular choice amongst fans. He won the Stanley Cup three times with Chicago since 2010 and is the second-winngest coach in franchise and league history.

And the team’s 0-2-1 start under Colliton surely doesn’t help make the move any better for some.
