Last year this was a highly anticipated game between two of the NFC’s heavyweights, but this season it’s a game between two teams struggling to stay afloat in the “In the Hunt” graphics that the networks show during games this time of year.
The loser of this game is for sure all but dead in the playoff hopes, especially Los Angeles as they are looking up at both the 49ers and Seahawks in the NFC West standings.
The Bears also have two teams ahead of them in the Packers and Vikings but there’s still enough time to make up ground, but they have to get their stuff together.
