Mitchell Trubisky, Bears' offense sink further in loss to Saints

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bears spent their bye week feverishly searching for an offensive identity.

Head coach Matt Nagy better keep looking.

The Bears' 36-25 home loss to the New Orleans Saints raised even more questions about an offense that actually looked worse after a week off. And remember, entering Week 7, the Bears ranked near the bottom in virtually every important offensive statistical category.

The bar wasn’t set very high.

New Orleans had outgained the Bears 419-120 with 4:30 left in the game. That's incredible.

Chicago’s defense clearly isn't as dominant without defensive tackle Akiem Hicks, who may come off injured reserve at the end of the year if the Bears are still playing for anything.
